Hello all. Last posting was in September. Yikes. Well some news: I sent in some photos as application to two design teams. Be awesome if they just say that they liked my work.
These are the projects that I submitted. I particularly like the layout on the left. I used some of my Mother's old jewelry in that one. It was an up-cycled challenge and I won a prize with on an online blog crop with ScrapThat! It was fun. Crafting all day and submitting pics of your work.
The Mail Art on the right was for a Mail Art swap I participated on the ScrapBeach. For me, this was an outside the box item. Challenged me to think not in the more common layout design. Some of these are in Ireland.
And lastly, I sent in pictures of a father's day card that I made for Randy.
I am trying to get participants for a class being hosted by one of Prima Marketing's educators. Jen Matott, who will be traveling 3 hours to teach the class. She does pretty neat work with altered art. You can check out her work in the following link: Sigma Girl From here you can see the design teams she is a member of.
Here is the poster for the class. Hope you can attend. Looks like it will be lots of fun. And you can get some great supplies and an awesome project to take home.
My days have become increasingly busier and busier. My son in school and I have been part-time cook since November and just finishing up, I have time to start this blog up again. Hopefully I can keep this up. There are great things happening and I am so excited to be a part of it. I'll keep you posted. TTFN!
